![]() B-line straight to the first boss, smack him with the mace since it does slightly more damage. ![]() Seg 1-2: Grab the Halo, open the first gate. This one can lead straight to Sux Mortis, but then you actually need a way to kill him, too >.> Sadly, because you don't have the quest to destroy the portal, you can't actually finish the game from there.įound a third one, from the Fern quest-giver straight into the elf sacrificing room. The second is using the thieves' teleport scroll, which moves you straight to the land of the elves. I doubt those'll be allowed in a run, or else it might count as NG+. There's also some DLC-esque items in the game that you can buy after completing challenges, see. What also sucks is that you pretty much have to play on Hard, since the autosave feature in this game seems entirely random, and I honestly don't see single-segment being an option with how difficult especially the penultimate boss is. So far I haven't found a real use for this, but I'll sure keep looking. Using the Halo gets you in the middle of the trap avoidance quest, while using a Return scroll on any quest puts you in a different location in that room. If you jump onto a lift while it's stationary, wait for it to start moving, then use any form of teleportation spell, you'll end up a slight distance away from the normal location. However this is slower than just swinging and I've yet to find any other benefit to it.ģ. If you spam the use key while in the middle of a weapon swing, you never pull your weapon backwards, which can with some weapons allow you to do continuous damage over time. You're able to fire a bow while casting a spell (a good reason to invest time in getting spells)Ģ. Main elements to be routed are which magic schools to pick up (some of the quests to get them are awfully lengthy and probably won't save much time), which weapons to specialize in (Bows are a must, but bows alone isn't enough), where to gather experience, which pets to pick up, etc.įrom my testing so far I've only encountered three minor glitches:ġ. I just started planning a route for this game and it's looking to be a really interesting run. Unepic is an indie 2D Metroidvania platformer RPG parody game.
